Do you think past relationship secrets should always be kept hidden?

Never keep secrets, if your feeling tempted, ask yourself why? I think it helps both of you to talk about it, because A-you don't have to worry about them finding out about it B-it helps you to understand why your last relationship failed and C-it helps both of you understand each other and how to make your relationship better, kind of the main goal of this app right? by all means, find the right time, but the longer you wait the stronger your feelings grow and the more it hurts the other person when you tell them. Hope that helps.

Depends on The relationship and your comfortability in that relationship and the confidence you have with your partner. Though it is nice to know everything about your loved one, sometimes depending on where the both individuals are at with themselves and in the relationship some things are just better left unsaid and some questions are just better left unasked. Often times you will find jealousy will rise quickly and can oftentimes lead to ulterior conflicts within one's confidence or even the relationship itself. So like I said it all depends on where you both are at in the relationship and how much trust and confidence do you have in that individual

I don't see the need or reason for the past to be spoken in detail. It's obvious that your partner should know things than to hear from someone else.. Certain secrets kept within yourself may work out positive, than invite unecessary tensions n nuisances. But if it anywhere effects your present relationship, then I guess it's best for her to know..

There are some things that can be shared but, just as you hope your ex would keep some things secret, so should you.
Even if your ex is running off at the mouth, getting even just drops you to the same level.
My advice, if there's any possibility that someone, be it your current partner, your ex or even you, let the past stay quietly buried.

To me it just depends on the person you in a relationship with. If you all have a understanding from the start to not feel a certain way afterwards then it shouldn't be an issue.

This one is actually quite simple. If it can catch up to you just tell your partner. if it doesn't then it shouldn't be an issue to talk about it in the first place.

Depends. Use your best judgment to determine if the secret is worth honoring. Nothing you divulge should have any ramifications on your past partner’s life. Also use your best judgment on who you are divulging the secret too. This is one of those questions that should be handled on a case-by-case evaluation.
