Do you and your partner sometimes sleep in separate beds? Why?

I would say it is easy to say never go to bed during an argument.... However in reality... I take a long time to cool down so to me sleeping seperately can sound ideal but we have an arrangement that even if we despise each other as the argument isn't sorted out.... We sleep in the same bed. We don't have to touch though :)

Never! Even when we travel and end up crammed in a full bed.. it’s a great opportunity to snuggle! And we never go to bed angry, even if it means staying up all night to work through the issue.

Yes. Due to long distance, work, travel, obligations, etc. Pretty frequently & its the norm for us. I have our cats to cuddle with, otherwise I hate sleeping alone.

I have horrible back pain at night sometimes. I won’t lie I also get angry easy and will sleep on the couch if I’m not happy. So whether it’s pain or I’m being a pain I will move myself so he can sleep on the bed.

Rarely, only when we've gotten in a really huge argument and can't seem to find a common ground. Has only happened a few times when our relationship was new but we've learned not to do that and try to communicate better.

Yes, 5 nights a week. He stays with our older son, who is afraid to sleep alone, and I sleep with our baby girl in our bed. On weekends, when DS is at his grandparents', we get to share our bed (still with baby girl). It's worked for years and we're just fine with it.

So far, no. But I am aware that his parents do. They’ll fall asleep together, but he snores too loud, so will eventually move to another bed so they can both sleep.
My husband and I do have a rule that we don’t go to bed angry, and no one gets downgraded to the couch. I think we’ll be able to stick with it, unless someone gets super sick, or he takes after his father and develops a snore!

Yes and in separate rooms. We get too hot when sleeping together, we hate sharing the covers and they're never long enough, I make strange noises and we usually wake up tired. We do sleep together on occasions but only if we're both in the mood and determined to do it. We do cuddle a lot during the day however.

Yes. We are currently engaged and live in his father’s home at the moment. We each have our own bedroom. Don’t get me wrong, we sleep together a lot, but for me, there was something about having the option if I wanted it. I think it’s good to wait until you’re married to act like you’re married if that makes sense. Also, he loves the cold room while I like being warm and cozy so just depending on different variables like if one of us is sick or we have an important event we have to get up early for and we really need a good night’s sleep.. we might sleep in separate bedrooms. But we still always wake up and go into the other’s room to kiss them good morning/goodbye before we leave the house.

No. We're both the exact same when it comes to cuddling & love each other's touch to damn much to sleep separately. Even when we're not getting along we'll put whatever we're arguing about @ the time to rest so we can cuddle up & get some rest ourselves. We've tried to sleep separately a couple of times but one of us always ends up caving & coming to the bed. 😁
